DR. YING SUN

 

Dr Sun has over 37 years of experience in Traditional Chinese Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture. She attended the Chang Chun University of Chinese Medicine in 1978 and qualified with an MD in Chinese Medicine in 1983. She then worked as a Consultant Physician in Chang Chun Teaching Hospitals from 1983 to 1993. She then pursued a career in the UK and set up her own practice in Leeds in 1994 and has since worked in several of her own clinics in the Leeds, Bradford, York and Doncaster areas. In 1998, she was appointed as the Visiting Professor of Chinese Medicine at Chang Chun University of Chinese Medicine. In 2013, she joined the York Clinic for Integrated Healthcare as a visiting practitioner and was the only practitioner to offer both acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Herbal Medicine as part of her treatment strategy. She was the Education Director for the Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine from 2018 to 2020 during which she successfully held eight CPD (Continuing Professional Development) events in London and by Zoom, attended by over 600 delegates whom were practitioners of Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture. In addition she will be giving keynote presentations at the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies (WFCMS). In 2020, she started the European Organisation for Chinese Medicine Practitioners to provide a platform for sharing experience and teaching in Chinese Medicines and Acupuncture.

She has successfully treated chronic conditions affecting both adults and children over her 37 year career, offering both stand-alone treatments and supplementary treatments to Western Medicines and practices. In particular, she has successfully treated patients with debilitating Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME, myalgic encephalomyelitis), provided supportive treatment for post-chemotherapy side effects and syndromes. She also specialises in chronic pain syndromes. She has also successfully treated male and female infertility, whereby no further NHS treatments could be offered. She has a professional and friendly approach to patients, has a wide patient base and base her practice on evidence-based medicine.

She is a member the Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

DR. TAO SUN

 

Dr Tao Sun has over 26 years experience in Traditional Chinese Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture. He attended the University of Science and Technology of China in 1977 and graduated in 1983 with Bachelors (Honours) and Masters in Chemistry. He then worked as a scientist and became an Associate Professor in Chemistry. He was then offered a Scholarship for a PhD in Chemistry at the University of Manchester which he attended in 1993 and successfully obtained his PhD in 1997. He trained in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine in 1994 and practiced in clinics in the North of England. He also practised as a visiting practitioner at the York Clinic of Integrated Healthcare.

He has successfully treated patients with chronic stress, anxiety, depression and other psychological disorders. He has also successfully treated chronic musculoskeletal conditions and sports injuries. He also specialises in chronic skin conditions affecting adults and children including eczema, psoriasis which have been difficult to treat with conventional Western treatments,   He has a wide patient base and has a professional and flexible approach to his patients, providing holistic care and evidence-based medicine.

He is a member of the Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

DR. CUI LIU

 

Dr Liu has over 37 years of experience in Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture. She attended the Jin Zhou Medical University in China in 1978 and graduated with an MD in 198. She then practiced as a Surgeon in the North East Central Hospital in China from 1983 to 2000. She then pursued a career in the UK and have been practicing in since 2001.

Dr Liu specialises in chronic pain syndromes and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. She has a wide patient base and has a professional and dynamic approach to patient care. She is a published author and practices evidence-based medicine. She is a member of the Association of Traditional Chinese Herbal Medicine.
